Jims Woodworks Item #C2964 Heavy duty hand-crafted solid hardwood Collectible Display, TV-DVD Stand, Monitor Stand, Bonsai Stand, or Desk Riser. The table is finished with a protective satin water resistant finish. The Display Stands may vary in grain pattern and color. The finished sizes of the Display Stands will be within 1/8" to 1/4" of the listed sizes. The Desk Riser top and sides are approximately 3/4 inches thick, with a decorative fluted edge on the top (desk riser's longer than 32" will have a more conservative chamfered edge).

What size stand do I need when used for a TV, Electrical Equipment, Monitor, or Ham Radio Stand, with DVD player, Cable box, electrical equipment or keyboard underneath?

When deciding on the dimensions of the stand, you will need to:

1) Measure your DVD, Cable box, other equipment, or keyboard, as you would like them to sit under the stand.

2) Height of the stand: add one inch to the height that you measured of your equipment. This total is the height of the stand to order.

Be sure to leave a little extra room for air flow, if equipment is vented on top. (Stand height listed in the catalog is measured from the table or surface area they sit on to the top of the stand.)

3) Length of the stand: (longest front side)

For curved leg style stands 4 inches tall, add six inches to the total measurement of your equipment (longest front side).

For curved leg style stands 5 inches and taller, add eight inches to the total measurement of your equipment (longest front side).

The final total will be the length of the stand you need. Make sure this final dimension will be adequate for the size of the TV, Monitor, or other equipment you are placing on top.

4) Width (or depth) (measurement from front to back)

The available width underneath the stand is the same as the listed width.
